A piece i came up with today.

I cant lay my hands of any 3D progarms at the moment so im trying to replicate my visions with 2D progarms.

I want to eventually make some motion graphics. Vetors of graffiti and logos on differing planes and axis...synched and edited to some wicked IDM.

Anyone out there got any tips or advice, then let me know.

Cool man, yeah as it was already suggested before, Adobe After effects is what your going for, but you could also check out Flash MX which is a very nice vector animation program, just don't expect to do hardcore 3D stuff in it without an add on like Swift 3D.

would be very interesting to see this transformed into true 3D :thumbsup: i like the formation.

my advise would be to play more with gradient fill backdrops to create a studio lighting effect - not hard as it sounds! try out the colour to transparent settings with a linear gradient fill. [link] is an example of how i achieve 3D stuff - particularly the shadows.

I did it mainly in AI as my PS skills arnt the best. PS rules over Ai at achieving these results though.

oh and yeah.. i cant w8 for the 'real' 3D to begin. Jittering, exploding, sliding plastic coated, dripping with paint vectors. phew that was a mouthful. all accompanied and edited to a shit hot soundtrack!! woo...just need my new mac now.

with motion you mean animate? if its a illustratior/photoshop file try it in after effects you can get "3d" effects and spin around the thing but it won't be real 3d only a 2d object in a 3d space
